Kayla Rena Gore works to help coordinate homeless services, conduct direct outreach, and advocate for the rights of TLGBQ people, especially transgender women. She studied Sociology at Southwest Community College in Memphis, TN. She also provides trainings for CBO’s, educational institutions, and healthcare organizations around trans inclusivity. Her organizing work includes fighting for housing equity for all people who are chronically homeless and advocating for the just treatment of transgender people by law enforcement.
Ellyahnna C. Wattshall is an artist, author, graphic novelist and musician. She attended University of Memphis for Journalism and Sociology. Ellyahnna has done social justice work, volunteer work for several organizations and works in the logistics field, participating in group facilitation and logistics training. She spent many years as a teenager experiencing homelessness. She has goals to publish several more novels and to begin publishing music.
Dakota is the Epic Outsource Advisor as well as a fashion consultant, entrepreneur, designer and Youth Outreach Specialist for aspiring members of the LGBTQ+ Community.
Dr. Woods is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Woods participates in graduate medical education, and has given promotional talks and continuing medical education talks in all 50 states and also has a private practice. Dr. Woods is the proud parent of a son and daughter. Dr. Woods’ areas of academic interest include the neurobiology of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, high functioning autism, and gender dysphoria. She is a transgender female and her pronouns are she/her/hers.

I have several years experience volunteering for multiple trans advocacy campaigns and organizations.¿My background includes group facilitation, outreach for homeless and displaced individuals, public speaking and state lobbying. My writing background includes blogging, weekly news publications as well as publications of literary works. I also work in administration and as a safety instructor.
My mission is to serve the LGBTQ community to the best of my ability also to always be open for new learning experiences and become more educated when it comes to equality in the community. I’m looking forward to becoming a great leader in the Memphis community.
